ActivatEarth

We always say we want a better world,
I agree I want that too.
A world filled with love and possibility,
true freedom for me and you.

This Earth could be a wondrous beautiful gem,
a place to learn and grow.
When we develop courage to admit,
“I was wrong” and “I don’t know.”

When I looked deep into the mirror,
it was apparent to see.
Asked myself, “what have I done to help
other people to be free?”

The truth is I did nothing,
procrastination and self-sabotage became a habit.
I was hoping for a saviour,
convinced other people had it.

To many Freedom is a pipe dream,
they say, “quit being so naïve.”
Others think we are free right now,
“if you don’t like it here, just leave.”

Do you think we could do better?
Michio Kaku sure would reckon.
On the Kardashev scale of civilisations,
we’re only a naught-point-seven.

But can we solve World’s problems
with more advanced technology?
With new systems of finance and governance,
or with sound philosophy?

Despite all of the rhetoric
the heavy task that we’ve been left.
Is withdrawing support from those who commit,
or condone, slavery and theft.

The Natural Law solution is so simple
that it’s overlooked by most.
But if we fail in our great work,
the Human family will soon be toast.

A power differential will continue,
the plot intended to confound us.
Until we hold true knowledge
of the self and world around us.

Despite the history we’ve been told,
there’s nothing new under the sun.
Our collective problems will persist
until the internal battle is won.

ActivatEarth is my perspective,
please use your own research skills.
I hope you find value in it,
then make of it what you will.
